Erling Barth

Erling Barth is a Research Professor at the Institute for Social Research and holds a Professor II position at the Department of Economics, University of Oslo, where he earned his PhD. His affiliations include ESOP, NBER, IZA, and Harvard University as a Wertheim Fellow.

Research Interests: Technological change and labor markets, inequality, wage structures, gender economics, immigration, and the Nordic welfare model. His work explores how globalization and digitalization reshape employment and equality.
