Erin Simons-Legaard

Erin Simons-Legaard is an Assistant Research Professor in Forest Landscape Modeling at the University of Maine's School of Forest Resources. Her research focuses on understanding the cumulative effects of landscape change and forest management on wildlife habitats and natural resources. She uses the LANDIS-II model to study resource trade-offs (wood supply, carbon, wildlife habitat) and interactions between timber harvesting and natural disturbances on future forest conditions.
