Erin Roxburgh is a Lecturer in Management at the School of Management, Victoria University of Wellington. Her academic work is deeply embedded in te ao Māori (Māori worldview) with a focus on cultural practices in organizational settings and sports management.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMM) and Master of Commerce (MCOMM) from Victoria University of Wellington.
Her research focuses on two main areas: how Māori culture is enacted in the workplace, particularly within Māori organizations, and the socio-cultural role of sports organizations in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Her work bridges indigenous knowledge systems with contemporary management practices, offering unique perspectives on organizational behavior and cultural integration in professional settings.

She is also an accomplished athlete, playing for both the National teams for Handball and Beach handball, and premier Netball at the university club level.
