Erin Peters-Burton

Dr. Erin E. Peters-Burton is a Professor and Director of the Center for Social Equity Through Science Education at George Mason University's College of Education and Human Development. Her research advances STEM education through equity-focused frameworks.

Research initiatives include:

• Integrated STEM curriculum development and implementation
• Professional development models for science educators
• Self-regulated learning strategies in STEM contexts
• Computational thinking integration in K-12 science
