Erin McIntosh

Erin McIntosh is Associate Professor in Visual Arts at the University of North Georgia, teaching painting, design, and capstone courses. Her abstract works in acrylic and watercolor explore organic geometries through layered color fields. Research bridges art and science through microbial visualization collaborations with biologists.

Awards include Georgia's Higher Education Art Educator of the Year (2021). She exhibits nationally through galleries including Gregg Irby (Atlanta), Weinberger Fine Art (Kansas City), and Articles Gallery (Florida).

Curriculum development includes collaborative courses examining biological forms through artistic interpretation. As Art Club advisor, she organizes museum visits to major institutions.
