Erin Hazard is an Assistant Professor and Associate Chair in the Lewis College of Science and Letters at Illinois Institute of Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Chicago (2007). Her research focuses on intersections between architecture and literature, 19th- and 20th-century architectural history, and the history of museums and their built environments. She currently teaches in Chicago and maintains an active research agenda.

Her work bridges literary analysis and material culture studies, exploring how architectural spaces reflect and shape cultural narratives. Recent publications examine authorial houses as pilgrimage sites, intersections between music fandom and architecture, and museum display practices. Her writings appear in interdisciplinary volumes such as From Page to Place and Morrissey: Fandom, Representations, and Identities.
