Erin E. Helm is an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Physical Therapy Education at Widener University's College of Health & Human Services. She holds a PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science from the University of Delaware (2015) and is a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in neuro and oncologic rehabilitation.
Her research focuses on optimizing rehabilitation outcomes through telemedicine, understanding genetic influences on motor recovery post-stroke, and addressing the psychosocial impacts of disrupted healthcare services on cancer survivors.
