Erika Barber

Dr. Erika Barber serves as an Assistant Professor of Medical Science at George Fox University, where she joined the physician assistant program in 2021 after eight years as a float physician at Providence Medical Group in Portland. Her clinical work encompassed family practice, internal medicine clinics, telemedicine through the Virtual Sick Clinic, and home/nursing home visits via Providence's Elder At Home program.

Her educational background includes an MD from Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (2007) and a bachelor's degree in economics from Trinity University (2003). She maintains board certification in internal medicine and geriatrics.

Dr. Barber's expertise centers on Geriatrics and Internal Medicine, with significant contributions to elderly care models including founding Immanuel Pathways' all-inclusive care program in Omaha. Her practice extends to Women's Health and holistic Health and Wellness initiatives, reflecting a patient-centered approach across diverse clinical settings.
