Erik Rohde is an Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Orchestral Activities at the University of Northern Iowa. He is also the Music Director of the Winona Symphony Orchestra (MN) and founding artistic director of the Salomon Chamber Orchestra, which focuses on living composers and Haydn-era works. Previously, he served as Director of String Activities and Orchestra at Indiana State University, conducting the Symphony Orchestra and teaching violin, chamber music, and Suzuki pedagogy.

He resides in Cedar Falls, IA with his wife Erin and children.
