Erick Piller

Erick Piller is an Assistant Professor of English at Nicholls State University, where he joined the community in 2018. He co-directs the university's writing program and holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Connecticut (2018), an MFA in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College (2012), and a BA in English and French from Loyola University New Orleans (2010).

• Research focuses on Writing Pedagogy, Rhetoric, Transversal Creativity, and Instructional Design.
• His scholarship has appeared in journals like New Writing and Journal of Creative Writing Studies, with articles exploring collaborative faculty writing groups and intersections of critical pedagogy with creativity.
