Erich Kistler

Erich Kistler is a full professor of Classical Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, Leopold Franzens University Innsbruck, since 2010. His career spans roles at the University of Zurich, University of Bern, Ruhr University Bochum, and declined an offer from Heidelberg University in 2012. He directs the Innsbruck Monte Iato Project in Sicily and has led interdisciplinary initiatives like the doctoral program 'Figuration Counterculture.'
