Erica Lubliner

Dr. Erica Lubliner is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles. She currently serves as the Director of the UCLA Spanish Speaking Psychosocial Clinic, where she provides culturally and linguistically responsive mental health care for Latinx patients.

Dr. Lubliner's educational journey began at UCLA, where she was the first in her family to receive higher education, double majoring in History and Women's Studies with a minor in Chicana/o Studies. She later attended the UC Irvine Post-Bacc Program and worked for the UC Irvine School of Medicine's PRIME-LC (Program for the Medical Education of the Latino Community). She completed her medical training through the UCLA-Drew Program and a combined adult and child adolescent psychiatry residency at UCLA/VAGLA.

Her research has explored female medical student perspectives on clinical interactions with female superiors. As a Medical Education Fellow at UCLA's Center of Excellence, she contributed to initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion in medical education. Dr. Lubliner previously served as Associate Program Director at the UCLA/VAGLA Psychiatry Program.

Before medical school, she demonstrated early commitment to community service as a College Advisor at Wilson High School in East Los Angeles and director of the Scholarship Association for English as a Second Language Students (SAESL). During medical school, she served as Co-Chair of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) and Editor-in-Chief of UCLA School of Medicine's Humanities Journal—The BEAT.
