Erica L. Corral is a Professor in the Materials Science and Engineering Department at the University of Arizona, with joint appointments in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. She serves as Co-Director for the Arizona Research Center for Hypersonics and the University Consortium for Applied Hypersonics (UCAH), and directs the High Temperature Testing Laboratory. Recognized as a University Distinguished Scholar, she specializes in ultra-high temperature ceramics (UHTCs) for hypersonic applications and extreme environments.
