Eric Warner serves as a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Creative Industries at Toronto Metropolitan University. He began his career in the late 1990s as a teenage concert promoter, developing expertise in concert promotion, music marketing, festival management, music management, and brand development. In 2005, he founded We Are Busy Bodies, an acclaimed record label with over 190 releases recognized by media outlets like the BBC, CBC, and New York Times. Additionally, he leads The Cylinder Project, a not-for-profit dedicated to revitalizing endangered languages via early sound recordings.
Warner lectures across North America on topics including youth engagement, record label management, and event programming. He teaches the course CRI 530: Talent Management at Toronto Metropolitan University.
