Eric Taleff is a Professor in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and holds the Temple Foundation Endowed Faculty Fellowship No. 6. He is affiliated with the Cockrell School of Engineering and the Texas Materials Institute. His research focuses on processing-microstructure-property relationships in structural materials, particularly superplastic Al-Mg alloys and hypereutectoid steels for high-strength applications.
