Eric Spivey is an Assistant Professor of the Practice at the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. His research focuses on designing and fabricating microfluidic devices to enhance analytical access to tissue models while preserving cell microenvironments. He specializes in improving spatial resolution for MALDI imaging mass spectrometry and developing high-throughput systems for single-cell analyses.
Spivey holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. from the same institution, and a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
