Eric Ruffin is Professor of Theatre Arts at Howard University's College of Fine Arts. He holds a BFA in Acting from Howard University (1988) and MFA in Directing from Rutgers University (2005). An accomplished director, Ruffin has staged productions at prominent venues including Kennedy Center, Studio Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre.
Professional Recognition: Awarded Helen Hayes honors for directing Langston Hughes' Black Nativity, Princess Grace Award for dance, and fellowships from Drama League and Folger Shakespeare Library. Current commissioner for Studio Theatre and Woolly Mammoth board member.
