Eric R. Williams

Eric R. Williams is Professor at Ohio University's Scripps College of Communication, serving in the J. Warren McClure School of Emerging Communication Technologies. He holds a BSC from Northwestern University and an MFA from Columbia University. His research focuses on advancing narrative techniques through emerging technologies like Cinematic VR and interactive storytelling, with applications in law enforcement training and medical education.

Williams has authored influential books on screenwriting and entertainment evolution. His creative work spans Emmy-winning interactive series, VR films, and feature documentaries. Awards include regional Emmys, Writers Guild recognition, and multiple teaching honors from Ohio University for mentorship innovation.
