Eric Pierson

Eric Pierson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at the Teachers College, Ball State University. He is a licensed Health Service Professional Provider of Psychology and a licensed School Psychologist. His research focuses on assessment, intervention, and school psychology practice.

• Education: PhD in School Psychology (2007) from Illinois State University; BS in Psychology (1998) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Eric’s work explores legal frameworks in education, such as Special Education Law, Section 504, and FERPA, as well as trauma-related interventions for school psychologists. His publications also address school psychology practicum training models and cognitive assessment methodologies like the WAIS-III and D-KEFS.
