Eric Morser is an Associate Professor of History and Faculty Director of Civic Engagement at Skidmore College, where he has taught since 2009. He earned his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003, specializing in early American history with secondary expertise in environmental history and American radicalism.
His courses cover:

Morser has developed public history projects including a 2017 Tang Museum exhibit on mass incarceration featuring student research on Mount McGregor prison. His publications examine 19th century urban political economy and religious rebellion.
