Eric Miller

Eric Miller is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of History at Stony Brook University's College of Arts and Sciences. His research centers on religious transformations in antiquity, specializing in Jewish history from the Persian through Roman periods, Jewish-Christian relations, and the development of religious thought.

His core research examines:

• Evolution of Jewish sects and early Christianity
• Interaction between Rabbinical and Early Christian traditions
• Manuscript analysis of historical religious texts
• Influence of Hellenistic philosophy on religious development
• Holocaust testimony and archival research
