Eric Melander

Eric Melander is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. He joined the University of Birmingham in May 2022, bringing expertise in economic history and political economy to the institution.

His educational background includes:

Dr. Melander's research focuses on the intersection of economic history and political economy. Prior to joining the University of Birmingham, Dr. Melander served as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Namur. He maintains an affiliation with the CAGE Research Centre at the University of Warwick, indicating ongoing collaborative research relationships with his doctoral institution.
