Eric Manley is a Professor of Computer Science and Co-Director of Data Analytics at Drake University. Teaching since 2009, he contributes to interdisciplinary programs in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, emphasizing real-world data applications and accessible technologies with impactful pedagogy.
- Education: Ph.D. (2009) and M.S. (2006) in Computer Science from University of Nebraska–Lincoln; B.S. (2004) in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Nebraska at Omaha.
His research focuses on computer science education and applying AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision to diverse areas. Recent projects include SegBuilder, a web-based tool for semantic segmentation annotation, and Mapbots, map-based environments for AI agent design. He also consults on AI/ML, data science, and web applications and contributes to open-source projects.
