Eric Mandelbaum

Eric Mandelbaum is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Screenwriting at the School of Film and Media Studies, Purchase College, SUNY, where he has taught since 2002. He also teaches film history at Adelphi University since 2009. His professional writing credits include films and series for Discovery Channel, National Geographic, TBS, PBS, Cinemax, and Lifetime.

Research interests include:

• Screenwriting pedagogy
• Documentary filmmaking
• Screenplay structure and narrative techniques
• Media production across genres
