Eric M. Friedlander is a distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Southern California (USC), holding the Dean’s Professorship in Mathematics. He also serves as the Henry S. Noyes Professor of Mathematics (emeritus) at Northwestern University.
