Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacy within the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. He serves as Principal and Senior Epidemiologist for Northwest Permanente Medicine, with over 30 years of experience in epidemiology and clinical prediction modeling.

His research focuses on describing patient prognosis in real-world clinical settings and developing predictive models for clinical events. He chairs the Northwest Permanente Prediction Modeling Governance Committee, overseeing implementation of predictive models in clinical practice.

Dr. Johnson has secured research and consulting funding from major organizations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, NIH, CDC, FDA, PCORI, and Kaiser Permanente. He has lectured extensively at the University of Washington and Oregon Health Science University.
