Eric Jackson

Eric Jackson, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Director of the Connecticut Transportation Institute (CTI) and Director of the Connecticut Transportation Safety Research Center (CTSRC) at the University of Connecticut. He holds an Associate Research Professor position. Dr. Jackson earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky (2002), followed by a Master's (2004) and Ph.D. (2008) from UConn. His research focuses on transportation data systems, web-based data analysis, safety data integration, and remote sensing. He has led initiatives like the modernization of Connecticut’s crash data repository (CTCDR) and the Connecticut Roadway Safety Management System (CRSMS).
