Eric Gouvin

Eric Gouvin is a Professor of Law at the Western New England University School of Law, where he has been a faculty member since 1991 and has also served as Dean of the School of Law from 2013 to 2018. He founded the Small Business Clinic and the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration with the College of Business. His scholarly work focuses on corporate law, entrepreneurship law, and international/comparative legal issues, with publications including the treatise Blumberg on Corporate Groups. He has taught comparative corporate law as a Visiting Professor at institutions in France, Lithuania, and China.

His research spans corporate governance, financial regulation, and transactional law pedagogy, often incorporating global perspectives. Recent articles explore topics like power dynamics in corporate governance and transactional simulations in legal education.
