Eric Charlton is an Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Millsaps College. His artistic practice explores the desire for meaning and the lack of human understanding on both cosmic and everyday scales through an open studio approach centered on objecthood and human attempts to interpret the world.

- M.F.A. in Studio Art, Syracuse University
His research spans Sculpture, Drawing, Animation, Digital Fabrication, and Ceramic Arts. Charlton's work has been exhibited internationally at the CICA Museum (South Korea), Miami University Young Sculptors Competition (Ohio), and Das Giftraum (Berlin), with artist residencies including Turner Residency (Los Angeles) and Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts (Maine).
