Eric Bates

Dr. Eric Bates serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Philosophy at Northern Kentucky University (NKU). He is the co-director of the Native American Studies Minor and a part-time faculty member. His research focuses on the intersections of indigenous identity and Christianity, with publications including a book, an encyclopedia article, and a book chapter on North American indigenous peoples. He is also a faculty sponsor for the Anthropology Alumni Club and Native American Students Association.
