Dr. Ercument Aksak is an Assistant Professor in Finance at Durham University Business School. He holds a PhD from Durham University and has professional experience in international energy investments and infrastructure finance across Southeast Asia, MENA, and Africa.
His research investigates relationships between macroeconomic conditions and financial decision-making, with emphasis on emerging markets, regulatory ethics, and corporate finance strategies. Current projects examine systemic risk transmission and governance frameworks in developing economies.
