Eran Magen

Eran Magen, Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. His work focuses on trainee wellness and suicide prevention, with expertise in child psychology and population health. He founded initiatives such as Early Alert (suicide prevention in educational institutions), My MD-to-Be (support for medical students' families), Parenting For Humans (trauma-informed parenting), and Divorcing Dads (support for separated fathers).

Education: B.A. in Behavioral Science and Business Administration from Ben-Gurion University; M.A. in Education and Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford University. Postdoctoral training included a Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society Scholars program at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by service as Research Director at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Counseling and Psychological Services.
