Enid Logan

Enid Logan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities). Her research focuses on the racialization of Indigeneity, race and electoral politics, racial rhetoric, and the intersection of race with gender and class. She has contributed to debates on post-racial narratives, the racial implications of Donald Trump's political rise, and Obama's presidency.

Her work explores how racial identities and emotions are constructed in contemporary U.S. politics, with attention to presidential elections, media narratives, and the experiences of marginalized groups. She received the Institute for Advanced Study Faculty Fellows award in 2019. Her research has been cited in Scopus and Plum Print metrics, reflecting its impact in discussions around race, media, and political discourse.
