Enes Özel

Enes Özel is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Analytics & Statistics at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southern California and master's/undergraduate degrees in Mathematics from Koç University. His research focuses on probability theory, statistics applications, and innovative mathematics education approaches for K-12 curricula.

Özel's pedagogical interests include integrating historical context into mathematics instruction. He previously contributed to UCLA's Financial and Actuarial Mathematics program as an Assistant Adjunct Professor. At UT, he teaches introductory statistics and advanced statistics courses, emphasizing real-world dataset analysis from social contexts.
