About
Endre Anderssen is an Associate Professor in Clinical Bioinformatics at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. He is a member of the Clinical Bioinformatics Research Group and has worked on projects such as "Identifying predictive signalling networks" for ulcerative colitis treatments.
His research focuses on integrating genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenetic data to understand disease mechanisms in ulcerative colitis and cancer. Key areas include DNA methylation, gene expression profiling, and signaling network analysis. Recent work explores biomarker discovery for drug responses and inflammatory mediators in colitis remission.
His publications (2017–2023) highlight expertise in bioinformatics and computational modeling applied to ulcerative colitis, colorectal cancer, and mesothelioma. Collaborations span institutions in Norway and globally, with a focus on molecular resistance, drug response prediction, and multi-omics data analysis.
Endre Anderssen is affiliated with UiT’s Clinical Bioinformatics department, where he contributes to advancing predictive models for inflammatory diseases and cancer. His work bridges computational methods with clinical applications, aiming to improve personalized medicine and targeted therapies.
