Emmanuel O. Agu is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research focuses on mobile health (mHealth), computer graphics, and machine learning applications in healthcare. Notable projects include NIH-funded work on chronic wound care management via smartphone apps and DARPA-funded projects for detecting Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and alcohol intoxication using smartphone sensor data. He leads the Clinical AI Research (CARE) Lab and co-directs the Cardiovascular Artificial Intelligence Network (CAIN).
