Dr. Emmanuel Delille is a Research Fellow in the Department of History of Science and Technology at Dalhousie University. He holds a PhD from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. His work focuses on the history of psychiatry, social sciences, and medical practices in Canada, France, and Germany. He has edited special issues in leading journals such as History of Psychiatry, Archives de Philosophie, and Revue Germanique Internationale, exploring topics like psychiatric epidemiology, psychoanalysis, and transcultural psychiatry. In 2022, he received an award from the French Academy for his seminal book Une histoire comparée de la psychiatrie.
