Dr. Emma Parker is an Associate Professor in Twentieth Century and Contemporary Literature at the University of Leicester, specializing in women’s writing, queer literature, gender and sexuality, and the work of playwright Joe Orton. She co-edited the journal Contemporary Women’s Writing (Oxford University Press) from 2012 to 2017, earning a prestigious journal award in 2009.
