Emma Moll is a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead in Occupational Therapy at the University of Wolverhampton, affiliated with the School of Allied Health and Midwifery within the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. With a career spanning over two decades, she transitioned from an administrative role to qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2008. Her expertise includes community physical health, equipment provision, housing adaptations (e.g., Disabled Facilities Grant processes), and manual handling techniques. She holds a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and is pursuing a Master’s in Education (completion: 2025).
Previously, she served as a Clinical Placement Facilitator for Allied Health Professions (2016–2020), fostering student development through placement coordination. As Course Lead since 2020, she oversees the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy program, championing curriculum design and educational research. Her research focuses on barriers/benefits of student placements in occupational therapy and improving home adaptations for patient independence.
