About
Emma Minarelli is a Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, working in the group of Prof. Matthias R. Geilhufe. Her research focuses on topological light (optical Hopfion) interacting with quantum matter, bridging spintronics, optics, and quantum materials. Previously, she collaborated with Prof. Mikael Fogelström on skyrmionic spin structures at the Quantum Device Physics Laboratory (MC2).
She holds a PhD from University College Dublin (2022), funded by the Irish Research Council Enterprise Partnership Scheme with Intel. Her doctoral work explored Kondo physics and quantum transport in nanodevices using numerical renormalization group (NRG) techniques.
Her research interests include quantum transport in strongly-correlated systems, topological light-matter interactions, and computational methods for nanostructure analysis.
Her publications emphasize advancements in quantum transport theory, topological materials engineering, and applications of numerical methods in nanoscale systems.
