Emma Li-Ore

Dr. Emma Li-Ore is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Wagner College's Nicolais School of Business, where she joined the faculty in fall 2022. She holds a Ph.D. and MBA from Baruch College (CUNY) and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

Her interdisciplinary research examines:

• Economic consequences of disclosure regulations
• Non-investor stakeholder roles in information environments
• Corporate misconduct and regulatory enforcement mechanisms

Dr. Li-Ore serves on multiple committees including the undergraduate curriculum committee, Academic Cultural Enrichment committee, and Committee of Learning and Assessment. She has presented her work at the Midwest Finance Association Annual Meeting, American Accounting Association conferences, and Federal Reserve Bank meetings. Her professional background includes financial planning at Westinghouse, auditing at BDO Global, and portfolio management.
