Emma Gregan

Dr. Emma Gregan is a Lecturer in Classical Horn at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, part of the University of Adelaide's Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics. She serves as Head of Brass and actively performs with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra as a Tutti Horn player. Her professional affiliations include membership with Alliance Brass and leadership roles in community music initiatives like the Adelaide Horn Jam.

Her research focuses on community music engagement, brass music history, and music pedagogy. She holds a PhD in Musicology and advocates for adult learning and accessible music education programs. Teaching responsibilities include studio instruction and curriculum development at the Conservatorium, complemented by national youth program collaborations.

Emma's creative work spans composition for brass instruments, with performances across four continents. Her teaching and research interests intersect in promoting inclusive music participation through both academic and performance channels.
