Emma Clayson

Emma Clayson is a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University within the Health, Education, Policing and Sciences department. She specializes in inclusion, special educational needs, and school governance, with a focus on technology integration in education. Her career spans primary teaching, consultancy, and leadership roles in Staffordshire.

• Education: BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Philosophy, PGCE Primary, National Award for SEN Coordination, MA in Special and Inclusive Education.

Her research examines inclusion, widening participation, and the socioeconomic determinants of professional identity. She contributes to primary Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programs and religious education delivery.
