Emily Wardill

Emily Wardill serves as a Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, actively teaching core artistic practice courses for the Winter Semester 2025 including individual artistic instruction, art and film integration, and specialized excursions.

Her research and pedagogical focus centers on Fine Arts with emphasis on Contemporary Art methodologies, Film-Art interdisciplinary synthesis, experiential Art Education through excursions, and experimental Artistic Practice development. She integrates cinematic techniques into artistic creation while facilitating hands-on learning through curated excursions.

Professor Wardill provides intensive individualized mentorship through Künstlerischer Einzelunterricht (Artistic Individual Instruction) courses, guiding students' creative development across multiple artistic media and conceptual frameworks within the Fine Arts curriculum.
