Emily Touchstone

Emily Touchstone is a Professor of Instruction and Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, The University of Texas at Dallas. She specializes in social cognition, language development in infancy, and the role of language in academic success. Her work bridges academic research with community outreach through roles like Community Liaison Specialist at the Center for Children and Families.

Education: Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology (UT Dallas, 2008); M.S. in Communication Disorders (UT Dallas, 1999); B.S. in Speech Language Pathology (UT Austin, 1998).
