Emily Schott

Emily Schott is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at Spring Arbor University (SAU). She holds a B.S. in Psychology, M.A. in Professional Counseling, and Ed.D. in Community Care & Counseling (specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy) from Liberty University Online. Her doctoral research focused on trauma's role in recidivism among participants in a jail diversion program. Dr. Schott has professional experience in community mental health as a program supervisor and at a pregnancy center.

Active in her local church, she serves as pianist, youth camp nature leader, and volunteers with Detroit Rescue Mission and Salvation Army. She emphasizes Christ-centered education and values interpersonal connections in her teaching role at SAU.
