Emily Moler is a Visiting Professor of Theater Directing at Skidmore College, where she teaches courses including Introduction to Directing and Advanced Directing Workshop. She holds a B.S. from Skidmore College and an M.F.A. from the University of California San Diego. Her work spans theater, film, and voice-over performance, with notable credits such as directing The Grown-Ups (Baby Teeth), Bitch Boxer, and the short film HOBBIES featured at the Hollyshorts Festival. She is co-artistic director of Baby Teeth, an LA-based ensemble praised for immersive theater productions.
Research interests include innovative theater direction, immersive performance design, and the intersection of new media with live performance. Her work emphasizes collaborative creation and the development of new plays. Awards include recognition for Baby Teeth’s The Grown-Ups and her film HOBBIES. She has developed works with organizations like The New Harmony Project and Actors Theatre of Louisville.
