Emily Lemon

Emily Lemon is an Assistant Professor at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health in Brownsville, Texas. Her research focuses on addressing social determinants of Latinx mental health, with a particular emphasis on suicide prevention among immigrant and U.S.-born Latinx youth. Utilizing participatory and population science methodologies, she explores the interplay between structural policies and mental health outcomes.
