About
Emily Jones is Professor at Birkbeck's Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development, where she leads research on neurodevelopmental trajectories. Her work integrates EEG, eye-tracking and behavioral measures to study early autism markers.
The BOND Lab investigates how attention, sensory processing and social engagement develop in neurodiverse populations, including infants with familial autism likelihood. Current EU-funded projects examine social brain development through caregiver interactions.
Professor Jones coordinates the AIMS-2-TRIALS European autism study and directs longitudinal studies on ADHD and NF1. She received the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Fellowship for causal pathway research.
