Emily Hedditch

Dr. Emily Hedditch is a Lecturer in Medicine and PPD Lead at the School of Rural Medicine, Charles Sturt University. Based in Orange, she works as a GP registrar and focuses on regional general practice. Her clinical training includes postgraduate work at St George Hospital (Sydney) and a year of extended skills in paediatrics and emergency medicine at Orange Health Service.

• Education: MBBS and BMedSci from University of Notre Dame Sydney and University of Canberra, respectively.

Her professional interests span rural healthcare delivery, medical education, and the challenges of regional general practice. She is a member of the AMA and RACGP. Dr. Hedditch’s work emphasizes the broad scope of general practice and advancing healthcare in underserved areas.

Currently located at Building 1008, Room 250, she contributes to teaching and clinical training while pursuing RACGP fellowship.
